So most of us know a bit of PHP but how much do you know about mysql and databases in general?

Have you ever sat down to learn about database design and queries, or do you just take it as it comes?

I was supposed to learn that this winter! I've done some basic queries, searching a directory site for bad guys...but I had help.

I know a bit of MySQL, though I dont learn command line, I use phpMyAdmin to do most of the work.

Learning basic SQL syntax and database techniques will allow you to work with any DB which is great.
